Ella Johansen is a 9 year old kid with some volatile parents. When her schoolteacher organises a ‘career day’ in class, asking all the kids to come in with their working families and speak out what they’d like to do when they’ll grow up… well, Ella finds herself at a loss. Her mum and dad are ‘running for their lives’ and she surely doesn’t feel like growing up. And in the end, you’ll probably agree with her.
